The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have this Saturday raised the death toll to nearly 44,400 and more than 105,100 injured due to the offensive launched by Israel against the enclave after the attacks of the October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped in Israeli territory.

On the other hand, the NGO Save the Children reported this Saturday that an employee has died in an Israeli bombing in the south of the Palestinian enclave.

“There are not enough words to express the pain and outrage we feel over the loss of Ahmad in an Israeli airstrike. He was a valued member of our team and was greatly loved by all who knew him,” Inger said. Ashing, executive director of Save the Children International, who demands immediate “accountability” for Israeli attacks against members of her organization and other humanitarian employees.
