Specifically, the affected target was a family home located in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, in an area of ​​the Palestinian enclave that has become especially vulnerable in the last week due to alerts for heavy rains and possible overflows in Gaza City.

Gazan authorities noted last Sunday the “urgent need to provide pipes and materials to repair the drainage system of the Sheikh Radwan basin”, stressing that “a disaster” could occur, endangering the lives of residents and displaced people. for the conflict.

This attack occurs after the Civil Protection department of the Strip, whose Government is in the hands of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), reported this Friday the death of at least 75 people in the vicinity of Beit Lahia, victims of Israeli attacks.

Hamas launched an unprecedented offensive against Israeli territory on October 7, leaving almost 1,200 dead and taking another 240 people hostage.
