At least two dead in another Israeli Army bombing against southern Lebanon

MADRID 20 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least two people have died this Wednesday in a new bombing carried out by the Israeli Army against the town of Maarakeh, in southern Lebanon, an attack that occurs within the framework of the conflict unleashed more than thirteen months ago between Israeli forces. and the Shiite militia party Hezbollah.

The two fatalities were inside a house located in the aforementioned town when the attack occurred, according to information from the Lebanese news agency NNA.

Shortly afterwards, several Hezbollah militiamen once again clashed with Israeli troops who were trying to advance towards the city of Al Bayyadah, near Naqoura, also in the south of the country.

The militants have opened fire with rockets and missiles, some of which have hit a ‘Merkava’ battle tank. Clashes of this type have also occurred in the Nabatieh governorate as Israeli forces seek to make gains in the vicinity of Kfar Shouba.

Previously, Israeli authorities have indicated that three drones from Lebanon have fallen in areas of the country’s north, in the Galilee area, despite the fact that troops have tried to intercept them with the help of Israeli missile defense systems. However, they have ruled out the presence of victims.
