At least two people die and 18 are injured when a small plane crashes in Southern California

At least two people have died and 18 have been injured this Thursday when a small plane crashed into a commercial building in the American town of Fullerton, in the south of the state of California, local authorities have reported.

The Fullerton Police, a city in Orange County, has confirmed through their social networks the death of two people as a result of the plane crash that has also left 18 injured, of which eight were treated and discharged ‘on site’ , while the rest were transferred to surrounding hospitals to receive medical treatment.

The authorities are investigating the causes of the crash, which took place before 2:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands), when they received a warning, causing a fire and forcing residents to evacuate the area.
