MADRID 28 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The French Prime Minister, François Bayrou, has postponed until Monday his visit to the Mayotte archipelago initially scheduled for this Sunday to examine in person the damage caused by cyclone ‘Chido’.
Bayrou will thus leave Paris on Sunday, spend Monday in Mayotte and on Tuesday morning he will be in Reunion to coordinate the supply of food by plane to the island, according to French television BFMTV.
On December 25, Bayrou chaired a meeting with several ministers telemanically from Pau focusing on the issue of housing and reconstruction. On Thursday there was a new meeting at the prime minister’s official residence.
On the trip he will be accompanied by the Ministers of Education, Élisabeth Borne; Ultramar, Manuel Valls; Housing, Valérie Létard; Health, Yannick Neuder and Francophonie, Thani Mohamed Soilihi.
