Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, with the marksman eyeing a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer. Barcelona remain favourites to land his signature, however, leaving the Blues down the pecking order.
But they are not giving up. According to a report from 90Min, Chelsea are continuing to monitor the situation and are ready to make their move should talks with the Catalan giants break down.
Marina Granovskaia departure confirmed
Director of football Marina Granovskaia's time at Chelsea will come to an end at the end of the summer transfer window. Lauded as one of the game's most impressive directors, Granovskaia arrived at Chelsea alongside Roman Abramovich and worked her way into the position she holds today.
"We thank Marina for her many years of excellent service to the Club and wish her all the best in her future ventures," Boehly wrote in the statement on the club's official website.
Raphinha's transfer preference
Leeds United winger Raphinha is a man in demand this summer after he helped Leeds clinch survival last season. The Brazilian racked up 11 goals for the relegation-threatened side and has attracted the interests of Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea.
According to a report from The Athletic, Barcelona remain his preferred destination while Arsenal have recently had a bid rejected by Leeds for his services. But it also states that if Barcelona are unable to match the asking price, Chelsea would be his next preferred option.
