Gazan authorities denounce more than 19 “martyrs” for “four massacres” perpetrated by Israeli forces during the last day

The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have this Friday raised the death toll to nearly 44,400 and more than 105,100 injured due to the offensive launched by Israel against the enclave after the attacks of the October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped in Israeli territory.
The Gaza Ministry of Health has stated in a statement that so far 44,382 deaths and 105,142 injuries have been confirmed, including 19 “martyrs” and 72 injured due to “four massacres” committed by Israeli forces during the last 24 hours.
Furthermore, he reiterated that “there are still victims among the rubble and lying in the streets, without ambulances and Civil Defense teams being able to reach them.” Gaza authorities have repeatedly claimed that at least 10,000 people are listed as missing.
Israel launched its offensive against Gaza after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by Hamas and other Palestinian factions, which have intensified during the last two months in the north of the enclave. Additionally, around 790 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and in settler attacks since then in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
