Chelsea played against Al Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup competition today as they were keen on getting a win. Chelsea was hoping to defeat their opponents as they were hoping to secure qualifications to the final of the tournament.
Chelsea started with a very strong starting line-up which saw Lukaku, Ziyech, and Kai Havertz lead the attack. In the midfield area, we saw a combination of Kovacic and Jorginho. On the left and right wing-back positions, the Chelsea manager started with Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
At the heart of the defense, we saw a formidable trio consisting of Rudiger, Thiago Silva, and Christensen. Overall, the formation was a good one. In the match, Chelsea started very well as they had most of the ball possession.
The Blues found the back of the net first as they made the scoreline 1-0. The goal was scored by Chelsea star striker Romelu Lukaku. In the second half, both teams were unable to score a goal as Lukaku's first-half goal was enough to fire Chelsea to the finals of the Club World Cup competition.
