Four Indian soldiers died this Saturday after the truck they were traveling in crashed into a ravine in Bandipora, in the part of Kashmir under Indian control.
The Army has reported that the accident occurred around 2:30 p.m., probably due to the bad weather prevailing in the area.
“An Indian Army vehicle has fallen down a ravine due to inclement weather and poor visibility,” he said, according to the Indian network NDTV.
“The injured soldiers have been quickly evacuated to receive medical attention by Kashmiri officials, which we appreciate for the immediate relief,” he added.
