Hamas calls PA operations in the West Bank “complete crimes” after the latest deaths

MADRID 3 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) this Friday described the operations of the Palestinian security forces in the Jenin refugee camp as “complete crimes.” “These practices only serve the occupation to put an end to the resistance in the West Bank,” he denounced.

“These agencies practice sieges, premeditated murders, arrests, torture and abuses against our free people,” Hamas said, after dozens of deaths among Palestinian agents and militiamen of these groups in recent days.

Hamas has urged Palestinians to question the leadership of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in order to stop these practices that are far from “national norms and values” and “protect Palestinian blood.”

Likewise, he has stressed that the “confrontation” and weapons must point “towards the occupation” and “the oppression” that its “settlers” are exercising against the Palestinian territory and its sacred places.

In recent weeks, there have been various clashes between the forces of the Palestinian Authority and the Jenin Brigades in the aforementioned camp, leaving several dead.

The Jenin Brigades, which include members of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the armed wings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, have been involved in numerous clashes with Israeli troops in recent months, due to the dozens of operations launched against the Jenin and its refugee camp, the nerve center of armed operations in the West Bank.

The Palestinian authorities have assured that they are acting in Jenin to end the “chaos”, although they have received criticism from various armed factions, who argue that these operations benefit Israel and weaken armed actions against the Israeli security forces, amid of the conflict in the Middle East.
