Israel War | Direct: Around 90 dead in Israeli Army attacks in northern Gaza

MADRID, 21 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Presidency of the Palestinian Authority has condemned that the United States has used its veto power in the UN Security Council for the “fourth time” to overturn a resolution that called for an “immediate” and “unconditional” ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Palestinian Authority has criticized that the position of the US Government “encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people and the brotherly Lebanese people” and to continue with “its defiance to International Law”.

On the other hand, he thanked the position of the ten non-permanent members of the Council, who promoted the text, and the permanent members who voted in favor of the resolution “urging the Security Council to assume its responsibility in the protection of the Palestinian people and the maintenance of international peace and security”.
