The Kazakh Ministry of the Interior has confirmed the opening of an investigation and has stressed that “all possible versions of what happened are being considered, as well as possible illegal external interference in the operation of the equipment” of the Keruen Media company.
“Those guilty of criminal acts will be held accountable,” he stated, after which the State Technical Service of the National Security Committee has detailed that it was a computer attack “from foreign IP addresses,” according to the newspaper ‘Kazakhstanskaya Pravda’. ‘.
The organization has stressed that it is carrying out “technical measures” with the aim of “determining the source”, without for now there being more details and without there having been a claim of authorship of the alleged hacking of the screen, in which A Ukrainian flag appeared on Wednesday afternoon.
The event took place after Putin’s arrival in Kazakhstan, an ally of Russia – although he has been critical of the invasion of Ukraine – to participate in a forum of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
