MADRID 17 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, denounced this Sunday the sending of “various types of political agitation leaflets” by South Korea near the border between the two.
“We strongly denounce the shameful and dirty acts of the scum of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) who committed the provocation of spreading things of political agitation and conspiracy against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK, North Korea) once again ignoring our repeated warnings,” the North Korean politician said in a statement.
Kim Yo Jong, in a tone of severe criticism of these alleged launches of leaflets or South Korean propaganda material, has described these actions as a “provocation of political and conspiratorial agitation.”
“There will be no homeowner who will not be enraged by such dirty garbage spread in his clean yard, which even a stray dog would hate to touch,” he asserted.
He also stressed that “the inviolable territory of the DPRK is being contaminated and a lot of work has gone into disposing of this waste.” “Patience has a limit,” he stressed.
Tensions have been rising on the Korean Peninsula for months, marked by North Korea sending hundreds of garbage balloons across the border.
In June, Seoul also resumed propaganda broadcasts through loudspeakers on the border for the first time in six years, as well as its live-fire maneuvers near the demarcation line, activities to which are added joint military maneuvers with the United States.
