MADRID 24 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado has called this Saturday for a massive protest “inside and outside” the country to demand the “liberation of Venezuela” before January 10, the constitutionally scheduled date for the inauguration of the new Government.
“It is up to us to lead this process and ensure that all actors do their part. We are planning a huge protest on December 1. They ask us what we will do on January 10. No, January 10 is today! January 10 is a redemption movement for the liberation of Venezuela!, the opponent expressed during a digital meeting.
With this purpose, Machado has urged “all actors inside and outside the country” to “do their part” and act “with all clarity and intelligence”, always in accordance with the “just plan” that the opposition has “designed and followed with discipline.” “That’s why we are where we are,” he added.
The former presidential candidate has stressed that “the time is today”, pointing out that “we are seeing a regime that is fracturing, that has real contradictions, tensions and divisions.”
Along the same lines, Machado has pointed out that, although not all of these tensions are evident, they are there and are leading the Government of the current president, Nicolás Maduro, to “a process of decomposition” derived from “his cruelty, his corruption and his hardness”.
Faced with this reality, the opponent has presented herself as the visible face of a movement built around “the values of human dignity, kindness, solidarity and Justice.” “The 10th concentrates all this that we have built, this movement of redemption for the liberation of Venezuela, to bring our families back, to reunite with our children, to build a country of which we are going to feel super proud,” he concluded. .
