MADRID 9 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The campaign team of the Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado denounced this Thursday that the prominent dissident has been “violently intercepted” as she left the demonstration organized in Chacao, in the metropolitan area of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
“María Corina was violently intercepted as she left the concentration in Chacao. We hope to confirm her situation in minutes. Regime troops shot at the motorcycles that were transporting her,” Comando Venezuela denounced on its official profile on social networks.
Machado went to Chacao this Thursday to participate in the demonstrations in favor of the victory of the opposition candidate Edmundo González in the last Venezuelan presidential elections and just hours before the theoretical inauguration of the veteran opponent.
