More than 60 people have died and at least four have been injured as a result of a traffic accident in the state of Sidama, in southern Ethiopia, local health authorities reported this Sunday.
The health office of the state of Sidama has confirmed in a message on its Facebook social network account that “a car accident has claimed the lives of 66 people” and has left at least four injured, who were taken to Bona hospital. .
The accident took place on the Gelana bridge in Bona Zuria Woreda, a town in this region located about 300 kilometers south of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
