MADRID 15 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of Defense of Poland, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, this Friday reproached the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelensky, for wanting to “involve” other countries directly in the war with Russia.

“It cannot be said that Poland is not doing everything it can, Poland has done and continues to do everything possible,” claimed the Minister of Defense, in line with what Warsaw has expressed in recent weeks in the face of the constant criticism that They arrive from Ukraine for their supposedly false commitment.

However, Kosiniak-Kamysz has stressed that, as Minister of Defense, “the limit” of this support for Ukraine “is the security of Poland” and has stressed that if handing over any military equipment or weapons calls into question the integrity of the Polish State , will not do it, he said in an interview for TVN24.

Kosiniak-Kamysz has lamented the “short memory” of the Ukrainians and while he considers that Zelensky’s intentions to involve other actors more directly is partly “something natural”, Poland has its “own strategy.”

The Defense Minister refers to Zelensky’s demands that Poland shoot down Russian projectiles flying near its border. However, as he pointed out, there is no consensus within NATO on this point, “therefore, no ally should separate from this.”

In addition to shooting down Russian missiles and drones, Zelensky has also publicly reproached Polish authorities for not delivering enough MiG29 fighter jets that he has demanded. Warsaw has argued that the delivery of more of these fighters is contingent on the renewal of its air fleet.
