MADRID 3 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Dozens of relatives of those kidnapped during the attacks of October 7, 2023 who are still held in the Gaza Strip demonstrated this Friday in front of the residence of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in Jerusalem to demand the signing of an agreement that lead to his release.
All of them have gathered in front of the prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem to demand that the Government reach an agreement with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to achieve their safe return, according to information from the newspaper ‘Haaretz’.
Eilat Levy Shahar, a relative of a young woman kidnapped in Gaza, has indicated that this is a “crucial period” and has stated that the relatives are preparing “to protest harder until they achieve their goal.”
His words come shortly after Netanyahu himself authorized the sending of an Israeli delegation made up of members of Intelligence and the Army to sit at the negotiating table in Doha, the capital of Qatar, which is mediating the talks, together to Egypt and the United States.
The attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023 left 1,200 dead on Israeli soil. The offensive subsequently launched by Israeli forces has so far been skipped with more than 45,500 dead in Gaza.
