MADRID 27 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia announced this Friday that it has managed to dismantle a terrorist attack prepared by the jihadist organization Islamic State against a police station in the Moscow region.
The attack consisted of placing a car bomb loaded with propane cylinders at an unspecified police headquarters.
The operation took place precisely in Moscow and has resulted in several alleged members of this organization detained and others “neutralized”, according to a statement from the FSB published on its website, without giving more details about the operation.
The jihadist cell has been specifically identified as the affiliate of the Islamic State-Khorasan, which operates from Central Asia and has carried out attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Russia.
