At least seven people have been slightly injured in western Russia during a night attack by drones launched by Ukraine against the town of Kotovsk, according to Russian authorities.
“Three people suffered cuts from fragments of broken windows, four more had to receive psychological care, but admission to the hospital was not necessary,” explained the governor of the Tambov region, Evgeni Pervishov, on his Telegram account.
This incident has been the most notable of a night that has once again been the scene of cross-border drone attacks between Ukraine and Russia, which have respectively reported the downing of 47 and 85 enemy aircraft in the last few hours.
The Russian side has reported, according to its Ministry of Defense, the downing of 16 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Voronezh region and the Krasnodar Territory, 14 over the Azov Sea, four over the territory of the Belgorod region , two unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Tambov region and one was shot down over the territories of the Republic of Crimea and the Kursk region, plus another 31 in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian Air Force, for its part, has confirmed the downing, since 8:00 p.m. on Friday, of 47 Russian unmanned aircraft, mainly of the ‘Shahed’ type and that another 27 ended up being “lost” without reaching their objectives.
