A man has been arrested for allegedly setting a fire at a reception center for asylum seekers in Eindhoven, southern Netherlands. Two people who had to be taken to a hospital for inhaling smoke, including the suspect.
The events took place in the early hours of Tuesday. The fire broke out in a room and was quickly extinguished. The region’s authorities have reported that the entire building had to be evacuated as a precaution.
About 170 people have been evacuated. At the moment, it is being decided whether all of them can return to the center or have to be relocated, reports the Omroep Brabant television channel.
