MADRID 2 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Ten people have been injured after several men opened fire at the doors of a New York nightclub, although the Police have already ruled out that it could be a terrorist attack and have cited a confrontation between gangs as the main hypothesis.
The attack took place shortly after 11:15 p.m. (local time) on Wednesday in the New York borough of Queens. About 15 people were waiting next to the establishment to enter when between three and four men approached the area and opened fire, a police spokesman, Philip Rivera, explained to the media, according to ABC News.
The wounded – six women and four men – are between 16 and 20 years old and none of their lives are in danger, despite the fact that the attackers shot up to 30 times. Rivera has indicated that the shooters initially fled on foot and later got into a vehicle without a license plate.
