The last hospital in the North Gaza governorate stops operating

The Ministry of Health of the government of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced this Saturday that the Indonesian Hospital, the last active of the three hospitals in the Northern governorate, has stopped providing service. from Gaza.

“The Indonesian Hospital in Northern Gaza has been taken out of service and no longer provides any services to the sick or injured,” the Ministry published in a statement posted on social media.

There were three public hospitals in the area: Kamal Adwan Hospital, Beit Hanoun Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital, which are now out of service by order of the Israeli military forces.

The Ministry recalls that “the right to health is a right guaranteed by all laws and conventions” and therefore calls on the international level to pressure Israel to resume these services that provided care to thousands of neighbors, including minors, pregnant women, the sick and injured.
