Barcelona failed to secure a win in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League playoff clash with Italian Serie A side Napoli. The Catalans played out a 1-1 draw with the Italian club from Naples at the Camp Nou yesterday.
The visitors took the lead in the first half through Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Former Manchester City forward Ferran Torres equalised from the penalty spot in the second 45 minutes.
Barcelona dominated the game, but three players had a bad game against Luciano Spaletti's men.
1 Ferran Torres
The Spanish international scored Barcelona's only goal of the game, but was poor in attack. The Catalans should have won the game three goals to one, but Torres' poor form in front of goal deprived them of getting the win.
The former Valencia star realised his mistakes in the game and was in tears after the final whistle.
2 Eric Garcia
The Spanish international continues his poor form in the Blaugranas shirt as his clearance eventually led to Napoli's goal.
3 Frenkie de Jong
It was a quiet night for the Dutchman as he couldn't create enough chances for the attackers and, again, was subbed off by Xavi, this time on 60 minutes for the club captain Sergio Busquets.
