The Ukrainian authorities have put this Thursday at 160 the number of wounded in the attack carried out on Wednesday by Russian forces against the city of Zaporizhzhia, where thirteen people also died.

The governor of said town, Ivan Federov, has indicated that at least 59 of them have had to be admitted to hospitals in the area due to serious injuries suffered by the Russian bombing, according to a message broadcast through his Telegram account.

“The search and rescue work has been completed. I thank the workers, doctors and police for their efficient and coordinated work,” the governor stated.

Ukrainian authorities have indicated that Russian troops used two bombs weighing about 500 kilograms each to hit an aircraft engine factory in the city that also produces drones for the Ukrainian Army.
